Your scratch work is where the lost points start.
You knew how to do it. A sign flipped on line two and the answer was gone. Roughwork reads your working, shows you the step, and makes you fix it, so the same slip stops costing you points.
Careless isn't random. It has a pattern.
Most lost quant points come from a handful of slips that repeat. An answer key can't see them; your working can.
Practise the way the test is taken: by hand.
- Work a quant problem on the page, the way you will on test day.
- See the first step that went wrong, marked on your own working.
- Fix it yourself, with a hint if you need one.
- Get a few problems on the same slip, until you stop making it.

Questions
Is this a full GRE or GMAT course?
No. Roughwork covers quantitative reasoning and the maths under it. Keep your prep course and official practice tests for curriculum, timing and strategy; use Roughwork to find and fix the errors in your own working.
How does the pass end?
On your test date, or after 180 days, whichever comes first. It doesn't renew.
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
On iPad, yes, to write your working. On iPhone, work on paper and take a photo.
Will it give me the answer?
Only if you ask for the worked solution. By default it marks the step that went wrong and asks the question that helps you fix it.
